Photo Time

I am uploading photos in no particular order, it was just getting silly having them sit around on my laptop when I could share them with the world!

After arriving in Lukla we trekked for 2 days to Namche, the main town area in the Kumbu region. The town is set into a natural horseshoe in the mountain, this protects it from the wind and snow but also makes for a cool photo.

Just walking around the town you have to remember to look up now and again, and always without fail there will be some summit popping up on the horizon waiting to say "hello, that's right, we are badass".

A short trek up to a hill overlooking Namche gives the first glimpse of Everest, seen here on the left in the background with Lohtse dominating the main part of the picture. The camera doesn't capture this as well as you could imagine, just listen for the gasp of people seeing this view for the first time.

Before the week was out we will of trekked much of the way down this valley to Everest, and it isn't flat....not one bit.
