Drop Zone

They say that this is the highest Drop Zone (Syangboche) in the world, well it will be once someone parachutes into it. I do think I saw think in the Bear Grylls show where they used para gliders over everest, but I don't think that counts as a "drop".

I am not sure if this is just a bad angle, but an off airport landing looks like you would get another few thousand feet of ride before you get to ground again! I heard a rumor that if I land off DZ then they send a Yak to pick me up. Not the Russian helicopter yak, the earth mammal kind.
