Proud to be an American

I moved to America in 1995, from London to Houston, Texas. I figured I would just put in a couple of years and then be on my merry way to somewhere else, didn't really plan on it and I certainly didn't spend much time thinking about it.

Now 13 years later I am really here to stay. On Wednesday I was part of the biggest naturalization ceremony ever held in Colorado, 1300 people. I love this country, it let me evolve into the person I was supposed to be. I am not convinced I would of come to much if I had stayed home, but the people in this land make it something unique, and I wanted part of that. I get to vote as well....

Yeah - but remember Si - you're from good stock. That's what counts! Fair thee well, Son. England still loves you XX
