87 days and counting!

In 87 days we will be getting on a jet plane for Nepal....via Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Bangkok.

One of the reasons I signed up for this trip was for the journey of the training. Next month it is taking me to Eloy, AZ for 3 days of jumping at the worlds biggest drop zone. The weekend after that it is taking me down to Gold Coast Skydiving in MS for a couple of HALO jumps! I just needed an excuse for all this.

I jumped a new-to-me Sabre 210 this weekend a few times, a big square canopy which is a lot more similar to the Navigator I plane to use than my current Spectre. Made for VERY different landings than I am used to, slow and soft! Nice. The landings around here this weekend were running about 7,000ft.

87 days of training left. Last week was crammed, yoga, BCOR, a couple of road bike sessions and even a couple of runs. I should probably be dead right now.

Priscilla hiked up a 14'er (Sherman) for a little bit of exercise. I went to 14k+ 7 times....only I did it in a plane. :-) Well, they weren't ALL to altitude...a few trust Hop n' Pops.

This is my ride on Friday:
