Beer & Pie

There is a long standing tradition in Skydiving that you must buy beer for everyone when you do a first or a major achievement. I had to buy some beer this weekend because I did my first Night Jumps and I reached 100 entries in my log book! That also gained me a big, fat cream pie on the head!

The night jumps were just amazing. Both relaxing and thrilling at the same time. Your attention is focused a lot more to the present, the plane ride was quiet and relaxed, my landings were spot on. I think having a smaller target makes you a lot more accurate, you just can't get lazy.

It is dark at night, the photos didn't come out so great....



13 jumps over the weekend to take me to a total of 103. It was sunny and hot, but rewarding.

I was frankly too tired to drink the beer....but at least I kept the tradition!
